Strata is designed as a browser-local infrastructure modeling tool. It does not store your diagrams for you, does not track you, and does not create user accounts.
Public beta policy. Last reviewed: June 3, 2026.
Strata does not require an account to use the public infrastructure canvas.
Strata does not use analytics tracking, advertising pixels, behavioral profiling, or cross-site identifiers.
Saved diagrams are stored in your browser localStorage. They remain on the device and browser profile where you created them unless you export and share them yourself.
If credential-based discovery is used, credentials are intended for a single scan and are not saved into diagrams or persisted by Strata.
Strata is an early public tool with a primitive security model. Treat exported diagrams, imported IaC, and pasted cloud data as sensitive if they describe real infrastructure.
JSON, Terraform, or other exported files are created because you choose to export them. After export, you control where those files go.
Strata can represent cloud resources, relationships, imported IaC, and generated scaffolds. Avoid sharing exports publicly unless they have been reviewed and sanitized.
